PROJECT OVERVIEW
Skolasti LMS is an intelligent learning management platform designed for online educators to host and sell their courses, live sessions, and digital downloads—all under one branded space.
As an Associate UX Designer, I translated requirements into intuitive, scalable flows—covering the Admin, Educator, and Learner experiences.
I collaborated closely with the UX Manager and Product Owner to align business goals with user needs, and conducted UX walkthroughs with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
Goal: Simplify educator workflows, improve learner engagement, and introduce AI-powered teaching tools for faster content creation and management.
Problem

Educators previously relied on multiple disconnected tools for course hosting, marketing, and learner management.
This fragmentation caused:
Repetitive manual work across tools
Inconsistent branding
Complex learner onboarding
No single dashboard to track learning outcomes
High dependency on technical support for setup
Outcome: Educators spent more time managing systems than teaching.
MY ROLE & WORKFLOW

Role | Associate UX Designer |
|---|---|
Workflow | Designed user flows and prototypes based on Product Owner requirements. |
Deliverables | User Onboarding (Admin, Educator, Learner) |
UX RESEARCH INSIGHTS

Through stakeholder interviews and internal testing, we found that:
Educators wanted control and simplicity—not technical setup.
Learners needed clear navigation and progress feedback.
Admins required visibility into users, content, and performance.
We benchmarked top LMS tools (Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi) and noted gaps in AI integration, personalization, and unified dashboards.
CORE UX STRATEGY
Our solution unified the educator ecosystem under three core principles:
All-in-One Experience: Marketing, teaching, analytics, and monetization within one system.
AI-Enhanced Productivity: AI-assisted course creation, quiz generation, and learner support via an AI Coach.
Custom Branding: Every educator can reflect their brand identity across web and email touchpoints.

DESIGN PROCESS

Requirement Analysis | Flow & Wireframes | UX Walkthroughs for Developers | Design Handoffs & Iterations |
|---|---|---|---|
Collaborated with Product Owner and UX Manager to translate feature lists into interaction goals. | Created detailed flows and mid-fidelity wireframes in Figma, reviewed weekly. | Before each sprint, I walked the engineering team through design details—clarifying edge cases, states, and interactions. | After development feedback, refined components for better responsiveness and accessibility. |
KEY LEARNINGS
Design alignment early on saves massive rework during dev handoffs.
Walkthroughs are vital to ensure developers understand design logic.
AI features work best when they support, not replace, human teaching.
Iterative feedback from internal users is key for refining educator workflows.
